Let’s start with a quick look at what weather you might be in for and work our way through the packing process from there.
Understandably, weather conditions in Kaanapali Beach are going to vary throughout the year. For the most part, air temperatures tend to average in the mid 70s and 80s. The sea temperatures are typically in the 70s and 80s too. However, they both tend to rise into the upper 70s and 80s during the summer and early fall. for Maui online. As such, first time visitors may want to check those out in advance of their stay.
In addition to the air and water temperatures, it’s a good idea to remember that our Kaanapali Beach vacation rentals face the ocean. So it’s not uncommon for wonderful trade winds to blow in throughout the day. With that in mind, packing a light jacket or wrap wouldn’t hurt. As for the rest of the wardrobe selection, think casual and lightweight. Sun dresses and business casual outfits for fancy dinners on the town would make good suitcase additions too.
When it comes to footwear, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, sandals and sneakers made with breathable materials are good for most situations. If you plan on hiking though, you’ll want to bring something that’s close-toed and capable of providing both traction and support.
Oh, and you can skip packing the bulky beach towels, iPod docking stations, linens, kitchen supplies and big bottles of personal care items. Our Kaanapali Beach vacation rentals include premium amenities like in-room beach towels, personal care products, docking stations, cooking equipment and more.
