Going on a Maui vacation with a toddler in tow? Then you have to be extra mindful when it comes to packing for the trip. Our post will help you pack for your little one!
Entertainment
If you’re traveling to Maui from the mainland, then you’re going to want to bring plenty of entertainment to keep your toddler occupied. Bring your toddler’s favorite books and toys from home, and a loaded iPad is always a good idea for long flights. Don’t forget the earplugs!
Comfort
Does your toddler have a favorite blanket or stuffed animal? Make sure that you pack it for your trip. Staying in a new place can be overwhelming for youngsters but if they have familiar comfort items from home, they’ll find it much easier to adjust.
Diapers
If your toddler is still wearing diapers, then make sure you pack some for the trip. Of course, you can always buy more once you’ve landed in Maui. But you’re still going to want to have some on hand until you can get to the store. So bring at least a small pack with you. Also, don’t forget to bring some diaper ointment and a changing pad. To contain the mess, be sure to bring a box of sealable plastic bags. Also, because you’re in Hawaii, bring disposable swim diapers so your toddler can join you in all swimming activities.
